My trip to Yunnan part 1

Wow, just come back from Yunnan with my mom. a very beautiful place in southwest China. i went 4 cities in Yunnan called Kunming, the capital; Dali, the place where 天龙八部was filmed; Lijiang, the ancient city; and finally Xishuang Banna, where i saw very beautiful forest. i took altogether 10 days there and travelled many many kilometers from Beijing to Yunnan...although tired but i feel very happy. I became darker with the sun in Yunnan...the sun ray there is too strong!!!

My 1st day
after reaching Kunming, i spent my 1st night in the hotel...though Yunnan is very warm, but there's no heater in the room so it is quite cold inside, we turned on the air-con to 30 degrees to get some heat...

2nd day
very early on the 2nd day, we went to Shilin, the stone forest in Kunming. All the stones looks like growing from the ground, just like trees, and there are thousands and thousands stones, of different shapes. some of them also has stories behind. this picture was taken on the highest point of the stone forest, where we could see almost all stones in the park.


This strange word is the Chinese of stone forest, there were so many people want to take pictrue with it, very crowded.

Hahax, guess who is this? it's me!!! I was wearing the traditional costume of the Yi People (彝族), I like it very much.

in the afternoon, we went to a tea house to drink some famous tea in Yunnan, among them, the most famous one is this, called Pu Er Tea, it was made into a traditional Chinese coin, i took pic with it. I don't even dare to drink this coin, it's so cute!

My 3rd day

we reached Dali on the 3rd day and went to the place called 'sky dragon temple', there were 3 huge towers and alot of temples. at the back, it is a huge mountain with clouds around it. what a wonderful picture!!! it's nature that makes it!~

In the afternoon, we went to a lake called the 'Butterfly Lake' where i change to another costume that Bai People (白族) wear. I like their so called hat, it looks so nice! actually it got a very meaningful design, which represents wind, flower, snow and moon in Dali.

In the evening, we also visited the Dali ancient town and some of the famous place in Dali, and then i spent my evening with my mom on a huge ship on Er Hai.

My 4th day,
early in the moring, we went to the beautiful Lijiang ancient city by bus. the first thing appears when we reached Lijiang was the snow mountain. it is called the 'Yu Long Xue Shan' (Jade Dragon Snow Mountain). We took alot of pic with it becoz this is the first time i saw a snow mountain in my life!!!~ also my mom's first time!

And very fast it was night already, so we walked in the Lijiang Ancient City, it has a street called the 'bar street', i like it alot. See the cloth on my shoulder? it's a kind of costume in Lijiang called 披肩, something for you to cover ur shoulders. mine was given by the hotel, it fits me exactly becoz I like purple!

therefore, nearly half of my trip past. I miss all the place i went. Since the trip is so so so so long, i cant tell you at one time, too tired typing and organising, there are still millions of stories but i'm afraid there's no space for them. wait for the next time to tell you! so hope you can come to read my diary next time for the other part of my Yunnan Trip! Xiangshan--an aromatic mountain

Today is a very clear so my mom took me and my consin to Xiangshan in the outskirt of Beijing. It's quite a high mountain that we need to go up the mountain by cable cars. I sat with my consin and my mom sat on the one behide us so she took a lot of pictures for me.

On the mountain top, there is an area called 'Gui Jian Chou' which means even the ghosts will be worried when they reach the mountain top. this picture is taken on the mountain top, got the red leaves on the tree.The sky today is so blue and clear, esp on the mountain top, it's the most beautiful sky I saw since i came back.

The scene on the mountain is so beautiful that i took a lot of pictures. Xiangshan's red leaves is the most famous thing in China, but i think it's still too early as i didn't see much red leaves or they were alr picked by other tourists.

I even lie on the tree, it's very stable! hahax, so enjoyable the journey!~

this was taken in the entrance, the big black thing is called 'Xiang Lu' which means aromatic pot. Wow, then i found out that the mountain got everything with aromatic!!

this is the most meaningful picture taken with the logo of 'xiangshan park', a very ancient one alr, my mom says even she took the picture with it when she was 20 years old. and she even showed me the picture when we came back, it is exactly the same as mine!!!20+years alr.. this ends up my journey to Xiangshan, the aromatic mountain.

At HoMe

Finally I am back home. Everything at home is still the same as what they were 2 months earlier. Just as the one shown on the picture which I took during the Sep holiday. That very big painting on the wall above the sofa is drawn by a very famous artist (My father said), but I can't remember his name...Now very afraid of artist esp someone like the uncle I met last time in Changi Village, he must have some mental illness like he was first talking about how to prevent pimples and thereafter, totally without links, he turned to say something about Deng Xiaoping and his children; worth, he talked about his idea of constructing a new art piece with a mountain (he interpreted it as a male) and a house (he thought it was a female). Finally, he told me that he might come to Beijing for exhibition of his art work and he asked me to take note. At that time, I realized that 30+ minutes had passed since I met him..He was so talkative...somemore, he created a sentence by himself, it sounds like ' Spring is not the day for study...' what a strange thing!~this picture is the other painting in my house.

Now it's not very cold at all lah, I can just go out to play for the whole day, the weather is nice~I hope the weather will still be as nice as it is these days, then I can go out for more days!~hahax, i'm so playful:)

My Art Pieces~

Finally I got back my pottery pieces back on Fri, the last day of school, which was done by myself 3 weeks ago during the sabbatical time (when I even did not know my promo result.) It was quite an exciting and enriching process and I learn the basic how to play with clay... All these are my work pieces, though the colours are not painted by me due to time constraint as they say 2 full-days drying up and 1 whole day baking is required for each piece B4 the painting session. Quite a pity indeed… Anyway, I like all my work pieces very much and took a lot of pictures for them.

It is actually catering for the youngs in their age of 4 to 6, so it's very short indeed...But still looks professional,haha, this picture was taken when I was doing the photo frame in the afternoon

--This is the first cup I've made in my whole life! The cup is made together with my friend, as she wrote a "朋" on her cup and I wrote a "友" on mine, so that when our 2 cups are put together, we join to form "Friend", I like it very much! yeah, the colour also nice, got contrasting colours like blue and orange.

this is a photo frame that I did, can insert photos from the left side of the frame, very tiny but I like the design. this one was made during the group project so that My friend did the other half of the frame which is exactly the same as mine but hers is up side down.



This one is actually should be made into a bowl...but then I juz realized after I finishing it that this one looks like an ash tray~~~LOL, yet, the dog I made is quite cute hor :)(in my own opinion.

This one is the one that I did with greatest patience. Esp the lotus on the left, I spent almost 1 hr to do all the pedals and stick them together. Very difficult. The ladybird was transformed from a too big water droplet...since the teacher says it does not appear to her as a water droplet at all.

Haha, this is the most useful one that I made. Supposedly to be a water container for my pet dog at home, I like the colour very much, I think 小贝must like it alot.

My 4th Farewell Party in AH

I've attended to 4 farewell party in Anglican House since I came to Singapore. This year it was just a few days ago, a wonderful night, I should say that. It was very exciting and fantastic, it was the best farewell party I've been to among the 4. I found myself growing up, I'm changing every year, every night, every moment.

And for this year...Wow, this is my deareat roommate, she's so nice to me, and we are very close, even when I'm in HCI alr. Thank to her, that I could do well for my O-Level and Promo English and GP paper.

Moreover, this is the first time that I dance for so long, haha, and I got the chance to know one good friend--Longyin, very handsome guy ohhhh...(the right guy, together with my room mate)

These are all the guys that we danced together, it was such an exciting night, I'm very grateful to have the chance to know all of them. Hope I can go for the farewell party next year again...if it comes ture, that will be my 5th farewell party in AH!

周末咯……

去完NTU全身骨头像散架子了一样，就一个字来形容最贴切不过了：虚脱。（开个玩笑，作文真这么写的话，语文老师不批我，数学老师肯定会跟我过不去的……）一到周五，宿舍就像要过年过节一样热闹，没有study time，再加上刚刚考完promo，人们像是挣脱了马缰的野马，放肆的在宿舍里宿舍外尽情洒脱，没有门禁是这些野马最丰盛的精神食粮。楼下当然又成为情侣们的领地，不管哪个bench，坐着的不是2个人，就是男+电灯泡+女。室友被别人叫去打羽毛球了，只有我一个人在房间里，很安静，加之大部分住宿生都到宿舍外面去逍遥，反而让宿舍里显得比周一到周五还清静些…

Oh my goodness,真是件神奇的事情。由于最近屋子里的信号相当差，只能趴在床上上网，而且是把电脑放在我的枕头上。由于一个枕头太低了，累得我腰酸背痛，所以我尝试着放另一个枕头在电脑下面，结果刚把第二个枕头放到下面，网就断掉了……无奈，拿走这个枕头，奇迹般的网回归了。过了半个小时，我又开始累了，结果重新尝试着放另一个枕头，结果还是一样，又断掉了……由此我得出一个结论，不是我放的第二个枕头比较神奇可以block住信号；要么就是我的第一个枕头比较珍贵，可以接到信号……总之呢，我碰到了神奇的两个枕头，在神奇的周末…

Today I went to NTU, it's supposedly for me to do my CenTad project, but then coz there's no one watching me, I juz went online to read my favourite comic--Princess of Tennis. The Internet speed in NTU is really fast, amazingly fast, it took no more than 1 second to download 1 picture which I normally take at least 10 seconds to see on my laptop. So this time I managed to read up to the 355th chapter, which is alr near the latest chapter that can be found on Internet, thank to the Internet in NTU. Satisfied alr.

上网上出来的感想

最近无奈，房间里的无线网不知道为什么断掉了，把我逼到下楼来机房上网……其实自从我搬到华初的宿舍里，我就不常光顾机房的，保收估计这是第十次来上网。因为机房实在是地方太少，而等着上网的人太多，往往是供不应求……不过有一点比较好的，网速还是机房的快，而且快上好几倍呢。华初宿舍哪里都不错，就是不能随便上网让人头痛。还好我得房间lucky,能收到外面的无线信号，明年一换房间可就不太可能那么幸运了……所以说，看来明年真的要办一个M1的wireless业务了，不然每天跑下来上网可真够我受的。

这机房还有个毛病，就是冷的要命，每次从里面出来都是四肢冰凉，直打哆嗦。新加坡人真不知道怎么节省能源，把冷气开到16度，又费电又浪费我得热量……呵呵，怪不得不长肉呢，全都被消耗了。不光华初宿舍，华初的教室也是同样的“冰天雪地”，这其中不得不提到的就是那个冷如北极的图书馆，坐进去2个小时可以被冻成北极熊都不夸张。以前上学哪有冷气啊，每天都喊热，现在可好，每天上学还要拿着一件外衣，看着每个人都像要过冬一样……到底还是不是热带啊？

今天走过学校的时候发现怪不得新加坡的植物总是那么干净，今天才发现原来校工们用高压水枪来喷那些植物啊，尘土很容易的就被喷掉了，不过这样好像很浪费水的样子。算了算了，我到开始忧国忧民了。不过干净的植物看起来很舒心，经过学校的时候走能让我感到一些清新。嗯，就这样吧，我要睡觉去了。

传说中的人品守恒定律

Yesterday was an amazing day for me lah... I never wonder that I can get the highest comprehension mark in my class... Haha, must be accidentally and involves good luck. Honestly, me English is very poor that GP is the most difficult subject to me. I am always afraid of it. But different this time, that I got my first B for GP compre in JC life!

Then, I must conclude my performance for this promo exam---it is...AMAZING! I'm think of giving myself a BIG present for doing well (may not be the best but it exceeds my expectation), Hoo, so I must be even NICER to myself.

听说过人品守恒定律没有？我觉得昨天我就明显证实了这个定律得正确性。本来白天该值得庆祝的，还想放自己一天假，结果晚上可9：40才进宿舍门，说什么一起做PW，搞到最后大家一起slack外加闹来闹去，最后别说是OP，就连第二天马上要交的WR都没写完……哈哈，我们一群懒人。回来以后居然连网络也跟我过不去，一直到晚上11：00还没有连到网上，害得我没能如愿以偿的在网上颓废，无奈只得看我的网球王子打发时间。应该是因为人品全用在Promo的results上了，只剩下一点点来cater剩下的生活，果然不出所料的出现了人品用光的问题……哈哈，今天没有卷子再出来了，所以人品一下子又回来了！！好开心哦，又能上网了，千万不要断啊……（祈祷中）我人品应该不至于那么烂吧……

P.S. 呵呵，不二就是天才嘛，我最喜欢天才了！！！

考了4个A哦！值得庆祝的一天

第一次写blog啊，可能还是因为平时太松散的关系吧，一点儿也不关心网上和现实生活中流行什么，总要等到大家都已经流行了好一阵的时候，自己才跟个菜鸟一样也插进来凑个热闹。还是习惯用中文来表达感情，毕竟说了18年的中文，没有什么比自己的母语更能让我流露感情的了。

今天对我来说很不寻常吧，刚刚发了所有四科的卷子，惊奇地发现自己居然得了4个A，当时真的好激动啊，四个A啊，做梦都没想过的，居然被我做到了。说实话，自从进了华初之后就很少能安心坐下来学习，有时是因为活动太多，有时是因为觉得力不从心，总是没有初中时那种拼的精神，也没有了精力，坐在说桌前不到半个小时就做不下去了，不是出去和朋友们打打闹闹，就是找个理由去玩电脑。只有考promo之前的那个星期真的是被逼无奈，平常上课由于一点儿都不重视，导致那个星期从头到尾自己自学了一遍一年10个月的课程，真的是学到虚脱都不夸张。练习题做了一本又一本，notes翻了一遍又一遍，直到考试前的最后一天还没看完……当时心里是没底儿的，怕自己考试时会紧张，紧张的话就会totally black out…
不过还好，最后考完还是很顺利的。可能是老天太眷顾我了吧，让我运气这么好，连最不可能的Econs都得到了有史以来我的第一个A，整整比block test的E进步了4个等级啊！

兴奋之余，不禁有些伤感，又到了年底了，马上要升上J2，我也要再一次成为别人的学姐……老了老了。手上拿着的卷子是我们J1的纪念册，记载着我们在一起的点点滴滴，把欢乐和泪水都化成那些老师们精挑细选的考试题目和我们挖空心思的答案。那就让他过去吧，开心的迎接即将到来的又一个春夏秋冬！

看来是真的太兴奋了呢。连说话都语无伦次的……

明天要发GP的卷子，心里还是很害怕，毕竟英语一直是让我头痛的科目……呵呵，祝我好运！Good luck!
